"The room we had did not have working ac and so we had paid for a large suite but only Were able to be moved to a king room. No compensation for loss of cost The rooms are dated but clean. The engineering and housekeeping and restaurant staff were great. We wanted to leave but were told by desk clerk we couldn’t be refunded so we stayed. It was an unusual property which was why we booked it."

"No shampoo in the shower, limited television channels. Hot breakfast choices were limited. Room was clean. Need better pillows."

"Property was expensive given the pool was not operational, beds were older, sound proofing needs improvement as noise from from upper floors was audible"

"The bathrooms don’t have spaces by the sink for many personal items. BUT, the medicine chest opens and gives you not just shelves but an additional mirror on the inside door. Perfect!"

"Bathroom door was broken and did not slide properly. One of the towel bars fell apart when one of our party just barely touched it. Room only had 3 bath towels despite being able to sleep 5 - and when I requested another bath towel, I was told one would be sent right up and it never arrived. Fitness center was closed - which had I been aware of, I never would have booked this hotel. We come to the area often to stay but will never stay here again."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We planned to stay at Lake Wanoka Resort Friday through Sunday, but loved the peace and quiet so much that we added another night. The wonderful staff made it incredibly easy and accommodating. We stayed in Cabin 3, with two bunk beds and a double bed. Everything was very clean, with a full private bathroom, hot water, working A/C, and a Roku TV.
