"We arrived a little after 4, there was a huge line and we waited for over half an hour to get to the check in desk. Our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait another half hour before getting keys to our room. When we finally got into our room, the bed pillows were piled on a chair, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. No cups or ice bucket in our room. This is not our typical experience at a Davenport hotel. This was our first stay at this particular hotel and honestly we probably won’t stay here again. "

"We were a bit concerned with the hotel near the train tracks but it was actually quieter than some along main streets. The hotel provides ear plugs in each room although we never needed them. Location is convenient to downtown and riverfront park. Staff was courteous. "
