"Used this hotel as a overnight stop en route to Arran and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room the meals available in the pub and an excellent breakfast."

"The only thing this hotel has in its favour is its location, assuming you are flying from/to GLA! Rooms are small, old and dirty. Fittings are outdated by today’s standards and the staff appear disinterested too…knock this place down please and rebuild something worthy of the location!"

"The hallways and room were nice and clean, but room service was missed on the second day due to staff shortage. A complimentary drink at the bar was offered instead. A nice gesture of sympathy. Regrettably, we missed the free breakfast at the hotel. It was included with our booking. The food offers at the bar were limited during the day before 5pm, so we went out for brunch. The staff was not able to provide us with options to do so out of the hotel. Figured it out on our own."

"I moved to this hotel because they told me they had a working fan and a view of the sea with adequate sea breeze to cool off the room. The room was extremely warm and the fan did not work very well and I had to stay there for two nights with an extremely warm room also the the hotel is a bit rundown and the carpet in the room had stains."

"we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

"This is a little gem! Convenient to all of our excursions . The bed was heaven! Great pillows! A fan was provided. Bathrooms were clean with good smelling products. I like that our room had a separate toilet room from shower room. There were plenty of places to store luggage, clothes, etc. They provide earplugs in case it gets too loud downstairs, but we didn’t really need them.
