"Cant beat the location. Just next to York Minster and tons of restaurants. Walking distance to the Shambles and almost everything. The only issue that actually makes our stay not comfortable is that the hotel does not have Air conditioner. We were there during heat wave and this make the stay in the room really unbearable. The temperature in the room was so much higher than the outside. The staff was nice and try to give us 2 fans and a bucket of ice. Still felt very hot. The breakfast was set...

"A delightful place to stay in a great location with lovely hosts. A short 10-15 minute walk and you're in middle of town with all the sights. Breakfast consists of lots of fresh homemade options that are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with refreshments and amazing smelling toiletries. Would love to stay again. "This is the best hotel I've stayed in in York and I've stayed in quite a few. Great front desk service, gorgeous decor, lovely room - great decor, comfy bed, lush pillows, nice lighting, powerful shower, blackout curtains, functioning air con / fan / heating system. The school parking is less than 100m walk from the front desk so is no bother to use. Easy access to city centre by uber, walk or bus. Will stay again."
