"Good bits: Free parking, spacious room (upgrade), nice grounds. Spa looked nice - but didn’t use due to jacuzzi out of order and a load of screaming kids running round. Not ideal during a relaxing swim or massage. Not so good bits: No air-con in standard rooms so had to upgrade at a fee. "We always try and stay at the hotel because our family live close by."

"This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had. We specifically booked this hotel because we were told the room had air conditioning. It didn’t. Our room was on the top floor, and the heat coming through the ceiling made it unbearably hot. Sleeping was almost impossible. The lift was also out of service, meaning we had to climb several flights of stairs every time we left or returned to our room, which was especially frustrating in the extreme heat.
