"My wife and I were attending the local jazz festival and stayed one night. The young lady at the desk was very friendly and made check-in very easy. It appears that the hotel has recently undergone renovation and was very clean and new looking. The bed and linens were very comfortable. One strange thing was the "closet". It consisted of three short (3-4 inch) bars on the wall by the window. One had the ironing board behind it and one had the iron. This made it difficult or impossible to hang anything there. Also the toilet was extremely low. For anyone with hip or knee problems it would be very difficult to get up. The breakfast was very good. Along with the usual waffles, which included a choice of red velvet batter, there were eggs, sausages and potatoes. The pastry choices were rather limited. The location is very close to Randy's, a very good family style restaurant. We would definitely stay there again!"
