"We had an apartment. The apartment block as a whole seemed freshly decorated, as was our room; which was also equipped to a high standard. The main hotel was well presented. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfasts. Hotel is really well situated for the centre of Salisbury. Bit of confusion regarding the car park as there is a public car park on Brown Street, which is separate from the hotel car park. We were on the top floor, which had no proper wardrobe, probably due to the sloping ceiling, just a short hanging rail. The apartments on the lower floors more likely to have a wardrobe. We had specifically requested a high floor and it was certainly adequate for our 2 night stay."

"It was a quaint hotel. The staff were extremely friendly. We really appreciated Simon, the bartender, Victoria the manager, Katelyn and Angie as well. There were others I didn’t catch their names. The breakfast buffet was outstanding as was the restaurant. The location was perfect to be able to walk to City Centre. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Salisbury and the surrounding countryside."

"Very comfortable hotel. Lovely location 5 min walk to cathedral. Room was a bit warm for our liking, as it was a top floor room and we had sunny weather. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was okay."

"Location of the hotel was perfect. Everything was a short walk to the cathedral, shopping, market place and Elizabeth gardens. We parked in the short term car park on Brown street and the hotel provided a parking card for £6 a night which is reasonable. The also provided a fan as it was hot. Missing is a mini fridge. That would have been nice to keep our drinks cold."

"This hotel is just fantastic. Plenty of parking , spacious clean room with plenty of coffee/tea milk and fluffy towels . The location is brilliant for the new forest and beaches . There is an Indian restaurant next door which is delicious. The hotel has a microwave and plates cutlery si you can heat up your own food or left overs from the curry . I have had the most relaxing weekend break at this hotel and cannot recommend this highly enough . "

"Bedding was clean, room was clearly old - flaking paper, damp marks, wonky fittings, including the base of a kettle stuck to a table with the plug cut off. Hotel has no lifts, I believe it is a listed building and therefore hard for them to install. Staircases are not well kept, lumpy, overhanging steps in places, dips in others. Hotel has an extraordinary number of stair cases, to get to my room I had to traverse more than 6, some up, some down. I had previously requested a room with as few stairs as possible to get to as I travel with heavy work equipment. I was supplied with 2 small sachets of coffee for a 2 night stay. The TV worked, I was able to open the window. There was a broken fan on the floor of the wardrobe. It felt safe, the town is very pretty, staff were friendly."

"Caravan was tired but very clean. Value good for what we paid. Excellent site, amenities are great, everything required to make our stay an enjoyable experience. Pool area very clean. All staff extremely helpful and polite. Great location. Would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again. Well done sandy balls 👏👏👏"
