Great for ferry

Lovely warm welcome. We were in room 2 and were disturbed by the owner's chatter from the room below during the afternoon / early evening. Lovely large room and great pillows and duvet. Perfect for ferry foot passengers. Possibly a little over priced for an out of season stay. The hotel we had stayed in the previous evening was better value for money.

Ali was a great host. The room was large, very comfortable, very clean and close to the ferry port and town. Double glazed windows meant there was no noise from the ferry traffic. Excellent wifi

toilet and wash facilities cramped and too much of a naval theme which again seemed to cramp the rooms. We thought it would seem a lot more spacious if kept plainer. The owners very welcoming and helpful. a good stop over for the 3 nights we had and nothing to really complain about

Charming waterfront guesthouse

Our first floor room was large, comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotless. Big bathroom, sea views, and parking right outside. Very hPpy to have stayed here. It’s also walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful Downtown Guest House

A beautifully appointed small inn located just off the downtown area. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Great view of the harbor, easy parking. No issues with noise.

Fantastic place to stay

The owners went out of there way to make sure that everything was to the highest standards breakfasts were just great the room was very very clean and cosy and so handy for the ferry I put in to my Tom Tom and within 25 yards it told me that I had arrived at my destination.must be the best bb. On Britain lovely owners will def stay if in the area again

Owners very pleasant, just taken over. Stars were a problem. 29 to our rooms. Top of the stairs a safety problem . Bathroom not adequate.

I needed a room at short notice for my family of five for an overnight stay while attending a funeral on the island. The owners were very welcoming and the room and en suite were very clean and well presented. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and really set us up for the day ahead. Very pleased with Hal-O The Wind and I will book again when we visit under more pleasant circumstances.

Basic comfort

Small guest house - only 5 rooms. No communal sitting room, breakfast room too small to accommodate all guests at the same time. Close to the town center and across the street from the ferry terminal. Owners friendly and helpful.

A great little place!

Dejligt ophold hos enormt venlige værter. Vi boede øverst i det gamle smukt renoverede hus ved havnefronten, og delte badeværelse med et andet par. Dette badeværelse var ganske fantastisk, idet der var udsigt ud over havnen, hele bugten og lidt af byen. Værtsparret var imødekommende, søde og hjælpsomme med informationer - og vi vil rigtigt gerne besøge dem endnu en gang!

Central location near ferry and spotlessly clean

Very welcoming and spotlessly clean! Just a shame the bedroom was a bit small and overcrowded and we had to share a bathroom which only had a shower - otherwise really brilliant. Would recommend.
