"The property was beautiful, the location ideal for walking all over town and for nice walks in the woods, the hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and great advise as “what not to miss”. It was a wonderful breakfast with a menu to pick from the night before. It was just an overall wonderful stay and I highly recommend. They bought raspberry jam special for me after the first breakfast when I had requested it and they were out. Extremely thoughtful. Greg and Susan were ideal hosts."

"Fabulous place in a beautiful setting. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with excellent storage and a lovely en-suite shower room. We were fortunate that the weather was good enough that the walk from the room (a Woodland lodge) to the hotel for meals was pleasant but an umbrella as provided jut in case! "The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. The decor fits the building perfectly with really beautiful artwork and fittings. Evening meal and breakfast were both superb !!
