"It was a very nice stay. The beds and pillows were really nice and comfortable. It's older, but it has it's charm. It's right next to the freeway and you can hear the cars, but otherwise it was very quiet and peaceful. The only thing I wish it had was bedside lamps. Otherwise our room was had two rooms, one for each bed and I really liked that. The managers were very nice and helpful as well. "

"Had to travel to Oakland for a short notice job interview. Booked Jack London Inn due to having a reasonable price and its distance from the job interview site. Hotel's location is convenient to many nearby tourist attractions and restaurants. Alameda island only a 10 minute walk/ferry ride away. Room itself was decent and reservation included breakfast.
