We had a great view with a balcony overlooking the sea and directly across the street from Onde Verde Hotel for a lot less money. I would recommend this place. "

"Salvatore and Gerardo were exceptionally good hosts. The accommodation really nice, clean, good views and personal service. The stairs keep you in shape but Gerardo insists helping with the bags, so thats no problem. Breakfast was excellent and the setting beautiful. We arrived by car and that is not the best in Amalfi because the streets are very narrow and parking spaces are not easily found. Next time we will arrive by boat taxi. :)"

"Hotel Cetus was unlike any hotel I've ever stayed at. First, when you arrive you'll realize that you can't even see a hotel. It's all below on the cliff! All you see from the road is a tiny parking lot and an elevator shaft. Because the hotel is built into the cliff and overlooks the sea, the views are incredible! "Room is a bit small, but balcony is very spacious with a nice view over the sea/beach. Bathroom is tiny, hardly can move around. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did not do a good job, did not replenish the daily mineral water to my room. Food is very good at the Adamo & Eve."
