"We paid extra for a gold room with a sea view, unfortunately it meant we could hear all the evening entertainment in the pub below which went on till late. (We heard every word through the microphone, including bingo and karaoke singing) Unfortunately the hotel staff couldn't do anything about, although they did try. Had we paid less and had a smaller room higher up it probably would have been better which is a shame. But it was great to have the beach so close out the front door. "
"Breakfast was excellent, dinner however is a different kettle of fish. To charge £4.00 for 5 onion rings was actually a rip off. Over the two dinners we had in the hotel service was inadequate. Bringing out two dishes separately because one meal wasn’t ready. I’m expecting decent service and pulling the staff off the reception desk to run the and wait table is unprofessional and rediculous."
"Fantastic staff gave a warm welcome and great service throughout our stay. Parking was very convenient and secure although was a tight space.
Breakfast was excellent with a good choice."
"Lovely hotel though frustratingly nowhere to put your wash bag in the bathrooms or to sit in front a mirror to do your hair (so many hotels guilty of this).
Staff are really great. We had a problem that was immediately resolved. "
"We stayed for one night. Plenty of parking spaces. The location is on the outskirts but you can walk into Weymouth town centre or catch a bus from just outside.
The room was clean, comfortable and looked to have been recently redecorated. We didn’t use the health facilities, but there was a nice bar area and drinks were reasonably priced.
Breakfast was buffet-style with a good selection of hot and cold food."
"The accommodation was appalling. First impressions were of an unkempt place. The stair carpet was extremely dirty. The room itself was large with minimal furniture. The curtains wouldn't draw together. The radiator wasnt working. There was no hot water in the shower and when we told the manager who wasnt on site, he said it should have been fixed. The breakfast was aweful, I asked for scrambled egg and when it came it was fried eggs chopped up. I asked to speak to the manager and the young man, who was one of 2 members of staff in the hotel, said he wouldnt be in till later that day. We cancelled our 2nd night stay."
"Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay."
