"There is a lot to share about our experience. Our family of four booked this hotel for three nights to relax after some earlier adventures. Unfortunately we got some pretty terrible weather. We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. "Excellent location. Other reviews are accurate. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything."

"Stay was decent , staff was great. But the rooms didn't have hot water again. I stayed there in January and there was no hot water. The same thing happened this time. You have to fix the hot water. Thank you"

C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin. "We loved the hotel, however we were woken up by loud construction going on in the property each morning and our shade was broken in our room which was never addressed after we reported it several times. The only other thing is if you are going to this hotel DO NOT FLY INTO SJO. THE TRAFFIC IS DANGEROUS AND 5.5 hour drive. Expedia is at fault on this. They should not even have it as an alternative. It’s like wanting to go see the Alamo and they fly you into Dallas."

"The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound. It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked. Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica."

"We loved our stay at Villas Verdes. Perfect location- close to town and beach. Loved the private outdoor space and a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the boogie boards and pool toys available for beach and pool. The staff were great. There was always someone cleaning and maintaining the property and beautiful tropical gardens. We’d definitely stay here again."
