"Upon check in, I was given a room with a malfunctioning AC, I spoke with the gentleman at the desk and recieved a new room without issue after his attempt to fix the unit didn't work and resetting the unit a few more times myself didn't get it to stay on. Overall, It's what you'd expect of a Days Inn near Akron. Good enough for a night or two, property in relatively good shape but definitely still has the same characters and abandoned vehicles you'd find at any other urban days inn. Overall...

"Our stay was great because it was clean and staff was friendly and professional. The area seemed to be suburbanize (landscape was rural with some areas pristine and serene!) The pool was clean and temperature was perfect! The only fault I saw was the water line on the bathroom door. My husband thought they may have had a flood in the past, but it didn't interfere with the cleanliness of our room/bathroom. Yes, we will stay here when we return to visit the family!"

"I did feel like safety was a big concern here and they did well with that. However I feel like they don’t trust the guests and maybe there’s reasons why. But I had to ask for ice and the desk guy had to get it. It was like a clump of chizzled ice that really did no good for me. There was absolutely nothing at the breakfast I could eat. On. Good note, the room was clean."

"The wallpaper was peeling in the room and hallways. The hallways were dark and not air conditioned. Everything was old and in need of repair. The restaurant wasn't open and the breakfast was a small pastry in a to-go box. The pool was freezing and cloudy. The TV was very small and not streaming services adaptable. There is also no microwave in the rooms. I was there two nights and never saw house keeping. Aurora is a nice neighborhood, this hotel might have been nice 20 years ago but not now."

"Great place. Always stay at the Streetsboro location every time I travel to Ohio, which is at least twice a year. Friendly staff, very accommodating, great breakfast, always clean and quiet. My favorite front desk person is Jacob. He is always so kind and the one front desk person, that has been working there for quite awhile. Kudos to Jacob!"

"Not the most comfortable beds and the lights barely worked. Shower was not the cleanest either. I guess for something cheap it'll do."

"Tv that doesn't function. Bed in the worst possible position. No hair dry, shampoo or conditioner. Completely needs to be re done. It's disgusting. The pool is completely closed. Except for the toilet it would have been more comfortable to sleep in the car."

"The hotel looked run down and smelled bad. Room door didn’t function properly. Laundry room was disgustingl. Room appeared clean but hair still in shower. Fridge felt as if it was going to tip over. It was very wobbly.ice bucket looked dirty"

"We stay in Solon often and have stayed at all of the surrounding hotels. This hotel has been our favorite so far. Rooms are very clean and the staff are very nice. We didn’t get a chance to swim but our kids loved the breakfast. We will definitely be back."

"The staff is so kind but the property is dirty and unkempt. Housekeeping needs a full overhaul. The room was grimey and gross. Stains on the couch, walls, bathroom dingy with mold. Just bad all around."

"It was nice to enter a clean room and have Dove shampoo/conditioner and soap -- it smells good. In addition, the towels had a more fresh smell instead of the typical hotel towel smell (if you know what I mean)???"
