"We chose this expecting a Hilton and was gravely disappointed. My list... there was mold in our shower and shower curtain, the rugs were torn throughout the room, our tub didn't drain, the bathroom door was swollen and handle broken so we got trapped in the bathroom every time we used it, the main door on the other hand wouldn't close unless we slammed it. Our coffee machine was broken, the replacement was just dropped off in our room but the broken one was left connected. Front desk acted sooooo surprised with all the complaints. We were there 2 nights, 2 days. on the second day we went for breakfast with a very limited menu. turns out they were shutting down to remodel. This was NOWHERE to be mentioned yet they charged FULL PRICE comparable to the other Hilton one block over. We went to check out UTampa and this was the worst hotel experience! Gross"

"This resort is rated a 4-star. I chose it according to the star rating & amenities.The beach area is small but nicely cared for. There was live music only once during our 5 night stay. At the skybar the drinks & food are pricey and the food was just okay. The breakfast eatery was okay too but very expensive. The food truck and sweet cart were not open. We were told the Luna restaurant was very good but not open Sun-Tues and could not get in Fri or Sat. The biggest disappointment was our room. The waterview room we booked was not available. The room we stayed in had 2 double beds on the ground floor with the front entrance off the parking lot. The staff was nice but I wouldn't recommend the hotel to my friends."

"Such friendly service checking in! Even asked if I preferred the first or second floor. Walking into our room, it was super clean and even smelled clean. Very spacious too. Comfy bed! The only downside was with all the guests, the floor made our kids feet black and we kept wiping them down. But it’s to be expected when you’re in a hotel room in a busy city! They can’t carpet clean every time. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, fruits, juices and you could make pancakes and a few other things. You’re just not allowed to take anything outside of the breakfast room. Friendly attendant overseeing the room too. The pool was refreshing and clean and warm. And it was nice to be able to pull up to our door and walk right in. Great stay. "

"I had to cancel to find a flight home because my mother was in the hospital at the end of her days. I explained this and tried to get my money back and they refused. "

"We were there two hours before check in. The first room they gave us on the second floor was uninhabitable. The rug had holes, the shower was stained, there was still food left out. I went to the desk and they gave us a new room on the top floor, it was okay. Still extremely run down.. will include pictures of the degraded chipped shower and furniture. There was VERY noisy construction going on the entire time we were there. We were still charged for early check in despite having our room being reassigned? Explain that. The paper we signed when we booked and checked in said cleaning every 3 days. We were staying 6 days. The front desk woman said the new policy was you needed to stay 7 days. Kind of insane they refuse to clean your room with housekeeping. My son got sick one night and I asked for a new comforter. She said she didn't have one because housekeeping left for the day? Then I asked if we could at least have a broom to sweep. They didn't send housekeepers but sent a very used broom and told me to sweep the room myself The only saving grace was Nikki at the restaurant. Make sure you don't open your doors if you are there on trash day, the smell from our balcony was horrible and there were trails of trash everywhere. Also don't expect a full gym. They have a few metal machines outside, not a gym... not sure why it is advertised as such. Very disappointed with how much we spent and what we received in return as far as the condition of the room and facilities. "
