"Very clean, friendly, helpful staff ."

"It was a clean place with very friendly staff. The only issue I had was the room that we stayed in smelled like somebody had smoked in it previously, but the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and it was good for the one night stay."

"El hotel está bastante bien respecto a calidad/precio. La piscina era muy bonita y toda esa área estaba muy limpia. A pesar de lo concurrido que estaba por ser 4 de julio. Fui con mi esposo y otra pareja. Éramos cuatro en una habitación doble, el espacio era suficiente y la vista de la habitación era un 10. La comida fue bastante buena y la atención del personal fue excelente. Aún así creo que deberían de ponerle un poco de atención a la sala de juegos que se encuentra en el lobby ya que estaba...

"The hotel is very old and not well maintained. The carpet was dirty and the room smelled moldy. The air-conditioner kept us up all night long. Breakfast was decent, but the area was not clean. There was trash everywhere. Very disappointed."

"We arrived at the hotel and was told it was canceled. We didn't receive an email or any notification of the cancelation. We had nowhere else to go. They scrambled to find us a room but the only room available didn't have AC. It's the middle of summer in Texas. They did give us a discount on the room with no AC but it smelled like mold & stuff & extremely hot."

"The room was clean and spacious with very friendly staff. There was a great variety of breakfast items. The pool was well maintained and the outside showers were needed for after visiting the beach which is located across the street."

"The room had mold on the walls and smelled moldy. Other guests also complained of the musty smell. Staff was very friendly. We paid $300 a night for a room and this should have been more of $100 night room due to quality."

"Very cute little place and very warm and friendly. Easy to get in and out. Wish there were drawers to put my clothes (other than under-the-bed drawers that were sort of in the way) and wish the air conditioner worked better. Set it to the lowest it would allow, 67 but it never got below 74 and for us that made for not a great night's sleep. Maybe it was just that room?"

"5 floors only 1 elevator worked. That was time consuming for a busy weekend. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than most hotel free breakfast. Older property but clean."
