"The owner and staff member were very helpful the actual decor of the property is well beyond it's best before date the whole property is very tired. Our room shower drain was blocked upon arrival which meant we couldn't shower for 24 hours not good in 30 degree heat."

We were told between 9-11am downstairs in bar restaurant. We went downstairs at 9-15 am only to find the place deserted!! Absolutely no one to be found. Apparently our breakfast was a bunch of bananas, some apples, cereal bar and a pot if granola in a small fridge left on the landing. No milk!! "Beautiful place, and not far from Henley"

"The hotel was quite booked up, so we had 2 rooms over a 3-day weekend and our baggage was transferred with no fuss or problems. Both rooms were clean, roomy and contained everything we needed, including a much-needed fan as the weather headed for a heatwave! Breakfast was lovely (we had a full English). The staff and the manager, Peter, were very friendly and helpful and made sure we were feeling happy about our stay at all times. A very nice place to stay while we visited one of our sons who...

"The hotel and pub were very pleasant. The rooms were well-equipped and the food was excellent. However, the service at the pub was inconsistent. While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high.
