"Convenient"

"I’m accepting of a lot of issues with hotels I book. And it sounds like you are nice people when you respond to comments. So here is my experience at hotel Duus. First we received no instructions on entry to the hotel or rooms. So upon arrival we couldn’t get in until another person staying there let us in. Thankfully there was a phone with information. The code did not work to our room so after several attempts we had to be let in remotely. We arrived late in the day. The building looked abandoned and was pretty dirty outside. I actually would have walked away at that point but was too tired to find another hotel. It only got worse when we got in. It was dark and dirty. The carpet was particularly disgusting. The elevator didn’t work. The booking said sea view. It was parking lot view with a boulder wall in front of the sea. Do not book any of the rooms 101-103. Upper rooms may be better. There is no breakfast. The restaurant was not open on Tuesday morning. I would have been less annoyed if only the outside and common areas were clean, not a difficult task for the management. From other reviews many found Duus a great hotel. Me not so much."

"Soft bed, Viking experience with the cool ambiance in both the restaurant and breakfast room. The hot tub was nice. The only issue was the bathroom didn’t have a heater or vent. As a result clothes wouldn’t dry and the room was steamy after a full night."

"I loved everything about this place! It was easy getting to and from the airport. The room was nice and staff was helpful. "

"Very happy with my stay here. Breakfast was awesome! Friendly staff and clean and comfortable room. I liked how close it was to blue lagoon and airport. Was a good bouncing off point for REK city tour, golden circle and south coast tour. Highly recommend"
