Cari Hotel di Southern Peninsula

"I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life"

"Great"

"It's location is very convenient to the KFE airport. Only 200 meters from the terminal."

"The cottage was very nice and roomy with a view of the Harbour. However, the bedroom is really small and barely any room around the bed so the person at the back would have to crawl over the other person to get out. But loved all the space after smaller hotel rooms in Iceland. Check in was super simple. Note there is not a lot around this area due to the past volcano action. It is close to the Blue Lagoon though, and that is why I picked it. We enjoyed Papa's for pizza but then were sort of out...

"Good location to walk to restaurants and get to the airport by hotel shuttle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable."

"Is a cool property as it's the old US naval Base. The decor is very eclectic and unique. It needs a little bit of a maintenance as some things have been worn down. But you can't beat the price for the proximity."

"It’s a self check in hotel. I never received the email with code for the room had to call from reception for the code. The staff was helpful. Too far from the city."

"This is the stay of a lifetime (especially since it is connected to the neighboring Blue Lagoon)—and it reflects a corresponding price tag. Sticker shock aside, they have thought of every manner to pamper guests and make them feel at home (and willing to part with more cash in purchasing their various products). The staff are very well trained in the art of hospitality and will go out of their way to be of assistance. This may not be an every few year stay but it is certainly is worth a checking...

"I love that we were able to check in early. We had an early flight and we're exhausted by the time that we arrived. The property was clean and we enjoyed walking to the lighthouse and museum. I am a vegetarian so I was a little disappointed in the dining menu but the staff were very accommodating. If we ever visit Iceland again... we will stay here. We fell in love with the small town, the people, and the entire vibe."

"Close to airport , clean, good for one or two night stay for sleeping. It has no room for unloading suitcase or hanging clothes."

"It's close to the airport. Everything is clean, but the bed was extremely soft and gave me a difficult time to sleep comfortably. The bathroom is located far from the bedroom and the toilet is so tight and the sink is squeezed in front of it! When I took a shower the water remained on the ground. They offer couple things in the kitchen as snacks or possible breakfast. They should have an opening that connects the parking lot with an entrance to the property to make it easier to carry your...

"Seamless check-in very impressed overall"
