"Just what we were looking for. A small hotel near the airport that was close enough to small attractions to get us out and about. The town was within easy walking distance and the small museum had some unusual collections which we enjoyed exploring. We purchased the hotel breakfast which was excellent "

"The guesthouse is literally across the street from the hotel - so going there to check in is no issue.

Since we arrived at 6am after our flight from the US - reception was kind enough to allow us to do a late check out.
Breakfast was already being served at 6 am so that was also a great bonus. "

The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable.
Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me."

"Klasse Hotel für Anreise oder Abreise von Island durch die Lage zum Flughafen. Umgebung sehr schön für einen Spaziergang. Zimmer sehr groß ,sauber und neu. Wir mussten mitten in der Nacht los, statt des gebuchten Frühstücks gab es ein Lunchpaket. Toller Service. Würde wieder buchen."
"Really close to the airport and we were able to travel to alot of great sites easily. Blue lagoon was 20 min away. restaurants were all within 10 min driving."
"Great hotel and spa, really well presented building and the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive and polite. OK it's a little pricey but well worth the experience overall. The only negative for me was from the Lava restaurant where I had probably the worst steak ever especially given it's hefty price tag."
