"We took the FlyBus from the airport and this hotel is a drop off point. It is also a pick up and drop off of the tour company for the day trips we took around Iceland."

"This is a hostel situation with. The rooms are yours but everything else is shared space. But over all good stay, clean and quiet."

"I was warmly greeted & assisted to my room. Generously offered coffee, tea or cereal breakfast. The room was comfortable & in a great walking location, close to the ocean. (Only downfall was that I was looking forward to a sauna or hot tub soak, but sauna is now a storage shed & hot tub was being emptied). The shuttle service to get to the airport was good value for price, as I took bus & walked 1.3 kms from bus stop to get to the property."

"Nice and clean hotel. Ideally located 7 minutes drive from the airport and facing small marina. Excellent restaurant although expensive ( but most restaurants are expensive in Iceland). Breakfast though is a good deal ( 19US$). Very copious and varied ( boiled egg, fruit salad, smoked salmon, skir yogourt with fruits, bread and croissants). Well worth the price. Small heated pool. Nice lobby area. Spacious rooms and big bathroom with walk-in shower. Friendly staff."

"We decided to stay at the Courtyard by the airport on our last night before leaving Iceland. This was the best decision. The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service. Seeing how the drive from Reykjavik is at least 40 min (if not more) we are glad we stayed close by for a relaxing evening and less rush in the morning. "Perfect for a basic overnight layover. I'd stay again. The taxi driver didn't know about the free shuttle part though, so we paid full price for the ride. I did message the hotel to give them our information to arrange the shuttle/taxi before the trip started but the hotel said to just call the taxi. So one small hitch, but a good stay overall."
