"Beautiful sea view room with quirky fixtures. Tea coffee and water available. The room was cosy and the shower/toilet was a good size."

"Beautiful hotel, rooms and breakfast freshly cooked. However, when arrived they hadn't got the booking through, which also caused an issue at breakfast time. We arrived at breakfast at peak time but they could do with more staff as it was chaotic. Had to wait 20 mins for them to take the order and no vegetarian sausages. Lovely location, and lots of car parking space."

"Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food...

"Apartment was clean and well resourced. On-site swimming pool was clean, with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Staff were very helpful and communication through text message was excellent. Parking was in a main car park at the top of a very hilly site with a 40 yard walk to carry luggage up and down a fairly steep hill."

Because the hotel was closed for refurbishment - and EXPEDIA failed to notify us prior to travelling - and also EXPEDIA refused to share our phone number with the hotel so they were unable to inform us in advance of our arrival - fortunately the hotel staff were able to assist us in gettinga ccomodation nearby. "Lovely breakfast staff could not have been more attentive or kind"

"I booked a room but all night there were banging doors outside my room as the main corridor door was right next to my room. I was also near the hotel entrance where there was a lot of banging. So not a great night sleep!"
