Rooms and bathrooms were very dirty. Sheets and blankets had stains on it. I would never stay or recommend this property to anybody. We stay at Marriott properties all the time but cleanliness is going down.

When we arrived (9 pm) there was no parking and no one at the front desk. The receptionist finally came and checked us in, get to room and the door was propped open - weird. There were no towels, no kleenex, and the door would barely close (only with a slam). I ended up having to park across a 4-lane road. Next morning the bad door wouldn’t open and had to go get front desk person again. Elevator, hall carpet, and lobby bathroom were quite dirty. Not our best hotel experience! At least the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

I did not get the room I reserved and paid in advance for. I was given the only room left, according to the hotel. I don’t understand why they would give my room to another guest when I had already paid for it. The room I was given was in dire need of repairs…the toilet seat was completely detached, the walls had patch paint work done, the shower curtain was full of holes. The pool was filthy and no fruit or bread on the comp breakfast. This hotel has gone down hill in the last 2 years. The staff is always friendly though

The check-in staff was very polite. When I reserved on Expedia, I chose this hotel because it was pet-friendly. When I arrived, I discovered that pet-friendly means a (a Benjamin note extra) non-refundable deposit. This is way more than other pet fees and the same amount as the room rate for three people is, and please, don't call it a deposit if it's non-refundable. Didn't have a choice but to pay the fee on top of the room cost as we are moving with our family pet.

It was 10 mins prior to my check in time and the gal said she would need to charge me an early check in fee. I was standing there with everything on one arm, my right hand had surgery 2 wks prior and I was u able to put any weight on it or use it. Does the Bonvoy membership not cover early check in? Then my room - the lotion was half full and open. Not even the cap was cleaned off.

We pulled in around 10pm for a one night stay. Justin at the front desk had just finished mopping. The lobby was very clean and inviting. Our check-in was seamless, he was very polite and thorough. Our room and bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable with duvets. (This is lovely because all the bedding can be washed now between guests. As compared to some affordable hotels that still use comforters.) The bathroom is somewhat remodeled with new wallpaper/shower walls. It’s bright and clean. I could hear the people in the room next to me but only until about midnight. I just went downstairs at 6:15am for pretty good coffee and the complimentary breakfast looks great. They even have fresh hot biscuits. At $104/night, this place is awesome!

Made online reservations Paid at site with card and CASH…later received notification my bank was pulling more charges. Call front desk…denies cash being received and was not going to credit my bill. AFTER SERIOUS TALKS the cash was “found” was 20.00 and I was told to leave. Had booked 3 nites..stayed 1…told to leave after bill dispute and cash FINALLY found and returned. HORRIBLE experience..ruined my trip and plans…DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. In house theft in my opinion

Traveled to Synder to visit my son who is attending Western Texas College. Upon checking in, the hostess was not pleasant. She didn’t welcome me and not even after I gave her my Marriott Member ID. She didn’t smile or recap my stay nor shared any information about the area/good eats or things to do. The elevator motor needs to be replaced. I had to use the stairs as it didn’t feel safe using the elevator. The ice machine on the 2nd floor is broken. The floors were dirty and need to be vacuumed. The room has an odor. Definitely not satisfied with my stay as this hotel did not meet Marriott standards.
