"Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. "The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c. "Amazing breakfast, perfect place for a sleepover after a long flight"

"Good spa, nice breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel has easy parking and check in was good. They weren’t able to manage a 30 minute extension on the room which was disappointing. The food and service in the bar was excellent."

The rooms where very hot and not air conditioned, it was cooler going outside in the 30+ def then it was in the room. "Loverly riverside terrace with plenty of seating areas. Breakfast is wide ranging but can be a bit of hard work finding all the choices and very busy on weekends. Club Lounge fills up quickly when complimentary drinks and snacks appear. Very effective air con in rooms. But in comparison to other local hotels, we would always stay here."
