"Brilliant pub with rooms. The room i stayed in was huge, with a lovely large bathroom and sofa/tv area. More like a suite than a double room. There is a very good food menu and the restaurant also offers takeaway. They were completely dog friendly, not just "dogs allowed", making sure her every need is met. They were very trusting with guests, allowing us to walk through the bar area after closing, to enter or exit the property. Super clean"

"We were in twin room room 6 at the front of the property, it overlooked the main road but we found it very quiet. Very friendly staff. Comfy bed. Lovely steak pie, mashed potatoes and veg in the evening followed by trifle (these are never on menus!) Great breakfast the next morning, nice filter coffee and yoghurts. Will come again."
