Novotel Sydney International Airport Hotel
The bathroom needs renovation. The grout is stained with mold and paint has peeled from the bottom of the door. The hinges are also rusty. Otherwise the room was fine. Very quiet for an airport hotel. It was cheaper to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, than use the shuttle bus.

Cockatoo Island
I enjoyed the solitude at night, despite the seagulls calling. The Fire Station Studio is ideal and very comfortable for a long weekend, with a variety of walks around the island. I didn't take a tour this time but will in future. The only disappointing aspect was the lack of better variety of food ...
