"Complained about hearing loud neighbors through the adjoining door; however, was told by desk associate that nothing could be done and to check back at 11 am. After the people next door were still being loud at 1:30 am we made the decision to switch hotels. The next day we returned to Island Vista and explained our issue, the desk associate couldn't believe how we were treated and was apologetic; however, the manager, although he could hear our conversation, couldn't be bothered to come out of the office to speak to us, instead he called the desk associate into the office for him to tell us we would get a full refund. A phone call to the neighbors to respect the 11am-7am quiet time, or the security guard could have knocked on their door to do so, or since there were very few cars in the parking garage there were plenty of other rooms available; however, none of these possible solutions were even considered. We stayed at Island Vista 2 years ago and everything was excellent; this trip was the complete opposite, could not have been more disappointed."
