DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bakersfield
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very large property with a tremendous amount of rooms. The check in was great, the staff was wonderful. The warm cookies were a bonus! It was a long walk to our room but not a big deal. Water pressure in hotel showers are my pet peeve and this shower passed with flying colors. I loved the shampoo, body wash, and lotion supplied on the wall. No mess, no extra toiletries needed except toothbrush and toothpaste. You can log in to your own Netflix or YouTube accounts on the TV. The icing on the cake for me was that we brought our truck with 2 bicycles in the bed. They were locked up but the security person at the hotel made the suggestion for us to park right up front under the valet area for better security. We appreciated that very much and didn’t even have to ask. The location was convenient and walking distance to nice restaurants, and even Costco. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Bakersfield."
