"Hidden gem!!! Initially, I was concerned about the area but the lodging was a huge surprise to me. Gated parking, exceptionally clean and bright room, staff who went out of their way to assist me, and quiet even though we were right off a Main Street. Will be staying here again the next time I come into the area. "

"Very clean, very large and well appointed room. Very quiet with really comfortable bed. Shower and bath very clean. Breakfast was very good with many choices set out in a beautiful room. The hotel is in a historic building, with new addition for rooms, right across from Sutter's Fort State Historic Park in center Sacramento. Good place to walk with lots of shade trees. Nearby there are many options for eating. The state capitol with lovely gardens is very close. There is street parking nearby....

"From check-in to check-out, this hotel is amazing. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive, and the maintenance crew were right on the small issue we had. A towel bar came off the shower wall and within less than an hour of reporting it, on a Sunday, it was reinstalled. The kitchen staff are so friendly (special shout out to Vi), that when I was taking our luggage to the car one of the kitchen staff was taking out the trash, and literally thanked me for staying with them and asked how...

"This was a rough stay. Upon arrival multiple unhoused individuals sleeping in front of motel office. While I was checking in one of the hotel guests left their room and walked through the parking lot completely topless in front of my 3 very young children. Our room was somewhat recently renovated but completely covered with hair from previous guests. The bedding, floor and bathroom all covered with different lengths and shades of hair. Really gross. There were screws missing from the shower door...
