"Small issue as room felt hot and muggy. Turned out that the hot bath tap had been left slightly on probably when cleaned. Easily fixed. Staff were friendly, parking easy and the breakfast ticked all the boxes. Had an evening meal in ghe dining room. Service was excellent and a good meal with pldnty of choices."

"Lovely motel right on the lake. Quiet, comfortable and clean room which was a good size, with good amenities and a nice balcony and lake views.The staff were lovely and very helpful. Taupo is a lovely town with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants. Plenty to do."

"While the facilities are a little older everything worked. A couple of things like the toilet paper holder and sink stopper were broken. The unit was clean and comfortable. The big issue was parking. Unless you got one of the prime spots it was a very tight back and forth between other vehicles, the building and a partially obscured incline. We had a small Toyota Corolla and could only squeeze between the building and another vehicle but couldn't open the door enough to get out. Get there early....

"The property is now showing it's age. We had to keep asking for room service to be done. Over all...not as good as it used to be a few years ago."

"If the Hilton is not within your budget, the bungalows/cottages (equipped with fridge and coffee-making facility) on this campground next door could well be an excellent alternative for you. As one may expect, the bathroom facilities are shared, but well-heated and very clean. (These are strictly available to guests only with a security code) There is a common kitchen too. The famous hot springs are a 2-minute walk down the hill. Free wifi."

"The rooms were tired and outdated, the photos were misleading. The outside of the building was not clean, windows had fingerprints on them. Definitely not value for money. Have stayed in better hotels in Taupo for lees cost. "
