6/10 Cukup Baik

This is my second time staying here. Previously stayed in 2024.
Pros: kind front desk staff, lobby staff and concierge. Clean rooms. Staff are gracious and accommodating.
Hotel location is in close proximity to a large mall and plenty of dining options. MRT station also minutes away on foot.
Rooms are good, though they are showing some wear and are overall average to maybe slightly below average for a 5 star hotel meaured against its contemporaries.
I took away points for the breakfast buffet. For the price, the selection is quite limited and the quality of the dishes leaves something to be desired.
The biggest negative is the fact that breakfast buffet staff try to rush you. Between 9:30am and 10am, I was reminded 4 times by three different staff that they are closing at 10. I do not need my meal to be interrupted by the passive aggression to hurry. At 10:05am, i had a few bites of fruit left and they said to me "the breakfast buffet is now closed. We need to clean this area." In the meantime, there were at least 3 other tables still finishing their meal.
Note to management, five star hotels do not tell their guests to leave five minutes after breakfast service is concluded. The reasonable approach is to stop serving food at 10am and allow your guests to finish their meals without telling them to leave. In comparison, the Tokyo Okura dining room approach to hospitality is vastly different.
Aside from the buffet, I enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel
