"The hotel is located in a very convenient area in Gion and is easy to get to the subway station. The unit that we had was the standard one bedroom with two double beds and the unit was super clean, modern and spacious! My mom and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Rinn Gion Shirakawa. The amenities that they provided were amazing too, ranging from a water fountain, laundry machines and a microwave and others… super great! I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to travel to Kyoto! "

"Hotel Alza was located in a great spot. It’s in Gion - close enough to all the great sights you can walk, but far enough away so you’re not trampled leaving the hotel. There is a kombini on the next block, and many many great restaurants. You’re also less than 10 mins walk to the shopping district. The staff were helpful and always available.
