"We loved our stay at Saju Kyoto. We arrived early and they looked after our bags until it was time to check in. When we checked in we were served matcha tea and Japanese cakes in our room. "What a great stay! My family (wife and I plus two teenage girls) stayed in two rooms at Alza and LOVED IT. The rooms are spacious, with incredibly comfy beds and the softest sheets. We had breakfast all days and loved both the Japanese and American versions. We stayed in 201 which had a balcony overlooking the street. "This is our second time staying at this place and we just love how it’s in the center of Gion district surrounded with the best food spots. We also love how close it is to shopping, nishiki market, karaoke, all the fun stuff!! The space itself is huge and the onsen is just the cherry on top after a LOOONG day of walking/exploring. It’s < 20 mins away from Kyoto station as well."
