"Rhonda is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are charming and thoughtful decorated in a home with a long history. Plenty of street parking near house. We spent the evening on J Street and found a wonderful coffee house nearby the next morning. Great location on the edge of downtown Sacramento and a wonderful experience."

"The place itself will take you back yo the past. . Just like a museum. Lots of memorabilia antiques and vintage that tell you a story. House structure is superb. From a dramatic light at night; The siren of the old trees waiving by the winds. To the whistle of birds combining tones creates music in my ears. Whhat else I can say. "

"A little gem of a stay in the historic poverty ridge district. The penthouse is converted attic space that sleeps four easily. There is coffee tea and water all day and a simple continental breakfast. historic home, but we had plenty of hot water for showers. Short a few bathroom towels for our stated number of guests, sure we could have asked for more but we were just here for one night. The grounds are beautifully maintained. "The building was clean, our room was clean, the staff was nice. They did charge for parking & had a bistro to order food from, breakfast was not complimentary. "

We had to use the small body shower head to clean. The water would not drain from the tub. We had multiple people staying in our room. After 2 showers, we had half a tub full of dirty water so the rest of our guests were unable to shower. The volume on the remote for the tv also did not work.
