"Check in was very easy and staff was wonderful. The room we had was very old school fashion/Hollywood. It was really beautiful. We even went to the bar upstairs my sister and I had gotten several appetizers to share everything we had gotten was yummy. I would go back again."

"The hotel is in a great location with onsite parking and short walks to sites and restaurants. Would stay here again."

"Would definitely stay here again. Check in was quick and easy. Parking was accessible, unlike other hotels that don't have parking. It's in a centralized location with restaurants everywhere. Hotel was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and courteous."

"Located in one of worst areas in Sacramento. Homeless tent camps less than a block away. I felt very uncomfortable leaving a hotel property."

"The housekeeping was awful. There was a noticeable stain on the duvet cover and hair on top and in the sheets. Hair was also found in the shower stall. Troy was very helpful in immediately moving us to another room. That shower also had hair in it. I used the shower hand held and rinsed it out. The brown spider in the bathroom took me over. I spoke with Ryan at the desk and was told he refunded the stay. I have no confirmation or receipt of it. I will be calling them about it. "

"There was minimal staff help, we only got keys from the staff and then no one was there. no breakfast was offered, coffee and water were available. Sterling hotel was not easily found, you have to search the wedding place which was their main purpose. I won't stay there next time."

"Absolutely stunning property with tremendously spacious rooms, my room even had a large desk and a little fireplace. The bathroom had a standing shower with multiple shower heads and a full tub. There was a skylight in the bathroom that let in a lot of natural light even into the main room. Staff was really nice, but there didn't seem to be anyone immediately available when I was checking out, but not really a major concern since very detailed instructions was given prior to that. Also walking...

"It was close to the train station (walking distance) and featured overnight parking (for a fee) while we took a 4 day trip. It's under renovation which means a lot of noise, our room key didn't work when we came in late and had to go to the dest 3 times to figure it out. Pool was unavailable and breakfast minimal."
