"The room was dirty and small. I didn’t mind the small room but the filth was horrifying. Walls were stained and the bathroom was filled with mold. Faucet with giant paint chips. I couldn’t help to be grossed out by a dried booger below the wall of the vanity mirror. This is definitely not a 4 stars accommodation. The comforters were disgusting yellow and dirty. I was glad the shop downstairs sold disposable bedsheets. There were roaches in the dining area when we had our breakfast on the first day. The staff were nice and accommodating. I can’t believe Expedia allow this place to be categorized as 4 stars hotel. Do better Expedia. All the good reviews are fake and were exchange with free vpn. "

The apartment is within the Marriot hotel and we were on the top floor L38 which offers an expansive view of Guangzhou. The entry is a door next to the Marriot hotel. To check in, go to floor 27 room 9(need to take elevator to L23 and change elevator to L27). The checkin office is Magnolia."

"Good location, great design, helpful staff always ready. Good value. What could be improved: The Shenzhen location is better. The Guangzhou location doesn't provide refrigerators in the room. People will take your clothes out of the laundry and dryer. In Shenzhen you can monitor your laundry on the television channel. In Shenzhen they provide you with snacks and drinks every day. Although it is a non-smoking hotel, cigarette smoke can be smelled regularly. If you aren't providing refrigerators in the rooms, you could provide ice on each floor. Instead of bottled water, they should have a filtered water tap to reduce the amount of plastic used. "
