"I absolutely loved The Menger. The history, the clean and comfy rooms, lounging by the pool, the nearby shops and The Menger Bar. They also offer valet parking. Joel was my favorite attendant, his attention to detail and kindness were above and beyond. It's also in a fantastic location. Enjoy a beverage lunch on the patio looking at the Alamo. A short walk away, you will be able to enjoy the Riverwalk. This will be my spot whenever I'm in San Antonio. 10/10"

"⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) Absolutely terrible experience. I would NOT recommend staying here at all. From the moment we walked in, the place smelled horrible—like a mix of mold and something rotten. The floors were filthy, clearly not cleaned in a long time, and everything just felt unsanitary. The sheets were burned and looked like they hadn’t been replaced or properly washed… disgusting. The room itself looked run down and poorly maintained. Even basic things were falling apart. To make things worse, the pool was completely green, full of trash, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in forever—definitely not safe or usable. On top of all that, the lady working there had the audacity to go check the room like nothing was wrong, instead of addressing the issues. Completely unprofessional. Overall, this place is extremely neglected, dirty, and not worth your money. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else."

"The bed was comfortable, but there was blood smears on the door and outside the room on the ground. There were scratches all on the bathroom door, as if someone locked their dog in there (all day long). They said that they had a breakfast “buffet. It was NOT! They had a pancake maker, but it was broken. They didn’t have eggs, waffles, or sausages like they had in their pictures. They had some biscuits, but they were stone cold. Very disappointed at this Quality Inn, because I usually like to stay at Quality Inn’s."

"No pets allowed . Clean rooms, coffee , hair dryer, but people smoke a lot in that building, rooms have cigar smell . Pool is nice . Cheap and good for sleep , just what I needed . "
