"Comfortable bed. Clean room. Close to everything.
It was conveniently located to the beach & town. We parked our car & walked where we needed to go the whole weekend… it’s just a few blocks to the beach. It was quiet for our stay.
There isn’t a swimming pool but we’re there for the beach so not a problem for us. No breakfast but coffee is available to make in your room, again not a problem for us, we enjoy getting our own breakfast/coffee when we come to Pismo.

"Sandcastle is a great beachfront hotel with unbeatable views. Our room was spacious with a quarter view of the beach within seconds of the boardwalk! "Everyone from the front desk staff to the staff that ran the buffet and breakfast center was great supportive and very courteous and helpful. I was impressed with the fact that the Hilton Garden Inn had the breakfast and dinner facilities. It made our stay that much more comfortable with that, having to go out and look for a place to eat."

"The proprietors are Patels - they know how to run a great hotel/motel. Everything was great. Definitely do not book via Expedia, though -- just go to American Inn's website to book. Cheaper that way. And, Expedia is a horrible company! They will book you with hotels that do not honor the reservation! Expedia really sucks. That was my mistake - using Expedia. American Inn is great, though."
"Very small rooms but clean and comfortable. Parking in front of rooms was nice to unload and load. Bed is small good thing we are average size couple;) it is very close to Main Street witch was nice too! I would definitely recommend for a quick get away. "
"It was just a very basic room to stay in after my Son’s Commencement Ceremony. Nothing fancy, actually not very clean, but it was ok. I didn’t expect much, and it wasn’t much. Tiny TV, lots of loud neighbors. Someone started blasting music at 5:53am I know because it woke me, and I looked straight at the clock. All it all it was fine for me, because I’m not too picky. "
"Friendly staff. Very close proximity to the beach, pier, shopping and restaurants. Once we checked in and parked our car we didn't use it the rest of our trip until we left. We walked around so much and loved that we didn't have to go looking for parking because it was that close!!
