"If you are looking for a place to stay in Gettysburg that is quiet, scenic, and away from the busy downtown, this is it. We stayed here for a weekend and completely fell in love with the property. The lodges are super cozy, clean, and private, complete with a fireplace and a porch with rocking chairs, perfect for morning coffee while looking out over the trees. Very dated hotel, carpets were dingy, Minor issues with the room key at check in which the desk attendant was helpful with, but upon entering the room for myself and my dog, we were met with a terrible room odor. Clearly frequented by dogs and not cleaned very thoroughly. We changed rooms and the next room was in much better condition. Location was appealing as it was close to interstate and places...
