"Staff were friendly and helpful! There was a barrier language but with their actions, you can tell that they are willing to assist you in ways. Clean and orderly property. The room was spacious and quite modern. The only minor inconvenience is the confusing hallway and lack of elevator. Other than that, it was a great 4-day stay."

"Stayed for 8 nights. Very Very Very foreigner friendly. Front desk staff all speak English and were insanely helpful with not just regular hotel duties but went above and beyond helping us with our Taobao issues and Shanghai difficulties. (11/10) Would absolutely book again!"

"We absolutely loved at stay at Chateau Star, it was more then what we expected. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helped as much as they could given language barrier, really only had 1 staff member who spoke English which was great as we weren't proficient with the translation apps immediately. Rooms were clean and we were super comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes, along with sone corner stores a short walk away. We will definitely be staying...
