"Room was clean. Stuff was basically OK. AC worked but it wasn’t crazy hot either - so can’t say how it would be in high temps. We did need to jimmy the vent a little to aim it, it was kinda broken that way. The fridge worked. The TV worked. The WiFi worked. The pool was decent. Stuff was a little rundown - but not terrible. Over all not disappointing, it was a good value. The bed was stiff. Biggest complaint was the pillows were terrible and there were no extras in the room. Staff was very friendly and overall not a bad stay."

"Clean room, fairly comfortable bed. Pet friendly hard floors, but thin walls and ceilings. Disinterested and overwhelmed staff. Acceptable for this price point. "

"Pool and spa under construction. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Was about 90 degrees in the breakfast area. Rooms had a moldy smell. Bugs flying around the room when we arrived. It appears they are under construction due to the supplies all over the parking lot. Needs to happen sooner rather than later. "

"We loved everything about our stay at Field Station Joshua Tree. Impeccably clean, friendly staff, great patio on a courtyard with a fire pit, simple but excellent breakfast and food choices for a quick bite and comfortable beds. Don’t hesitate to stay here! A short 12 minute drive to the west entrance to Joshua Tree NP. "

"It’s good. We’re interested in the hotel because of the view and the hot pool. But our room has no view at all, just facing the parking lot. The hot pool on Sunday morning not hot at all. Take a long time to wait to warm up the pool. But still not hot but just warm like water. Otherwise everything good but not exceptional. "
