I liked this property. I stayed two nights while visiting Joshua Tree. The property is old school but updated, clean, and very accessible. This will be my first choice if I ever visit Joshua Tree again.

Very friendly owner. She makes the stay pleasurable. Pool was a bit cold when we were there. However weather was overcast most of the time. Very clean and close to Joshua tree.

This is so nice for a motel. We had a spacious room and it was very clean. Pool was perfect. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great location. Would definitely come back.

Room was not clean, our beds had holes in them with tape and plastic covering them. There was hair on towels and pillows. The pillows were all stained and the pillow cover barely covered them. Definitely would not stay here again.

Room was small but set up in a very usable way. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Not the easiest place to access from the west - must make a left turn from a 4 lane road with no center turn lane.

Great location to the park. Had to request a new room- booked non-smoking and first room smelled strongly of smoke. First and second room were both not clean in the bedroom and bathroom. Linens across the room were visibly not clean (hair, staining, etc.). For one night, it was ok. However, we would most likely not return.

I've been staying at El Rancho Delores during my trips for business and leisure for the past 20 years. The motel is one of the historic properties in 29 Palms and has been kept in excellent condition. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool, while unheated, is open and the temperature is perfect for swimming in the summer months. Located at the edge of the downtown area, the motel is within convenient walking distance to several restaurants and the Joshua Tree National Park's and City's Visitor Centers. If you're looking for a fancy resort with all of the bells and whistles--this isn't it. However, if you want a peaceful, relaxing stay that has an incredible view of the mountains, this is the place.

The motel is definitely old, but nicely remodeled. It was clean and well maintained. The shower is very small and was a tight fit for my husband but fine for me and kids. Only real issue was that several people appeared to live at the motel, and what appeared to be the live-in neighbors had a shouting match at 2am in which one locked the other outside and he proceeded to bang on the door, which also shook our wall. Others did try to get them to stop, we arent sure if it was staff or other tenants but it went on for almost an hour.

Room was not clean. Black hair everywhere ( I’m Blonde) bed sheets were stained. Other wise it was fine. Close to the park and things to walk to in town.
