"The property itself was clean. The rooms I would give a 3 star. Could had used a scrubbing. The place is old though. Small. Breakfast was expensive & we did not eat there. Coffee in room none in lobby. Customer service was great. Pool is outdoor and small. They did have a lot of food to choose from. Again, it was expensive though. "

"Originally, they placed us at Building 2. It had a straight rent-by-hour vibe, dingy and dim ass hallways. Walking in the actual room was a experience- the air felt coated with that nasty sex smell, it was humid with nasty walls, wet marks on the couch… like, did someone just do the freak nasty riiiight before we checked in? And they placed us above the roof of what was probably the laundry facilities. Maybe the worst room of the entire hotel. We had to change; they put us in Building 4. It was slightly better than the other room. HOWEVER upon closer examination, there were boogers on the curtains, dirty walls, and even dirtier windows. Both inside and outside. "

"The staff is friendly and the room was clean. We were supposed to receive water bottles at check in, but they were not available. The room has a huge window that looks out to nothing but the graffitied building next door. The alleyway is very noisy with trash trucks early in the morning. The location is very good. Would only stay here again if there was a room with a better view available. "

"Well I was really disappointed to find out after getting there despite my pictures online showing I would get a balcony to find out it’s a $50 upgrade. The hot tub is currently broken and the pool wasn’t properly cleaned when we got there it was a bit dirty"

"The Claremont felt like an educational experience with the history of the resort. I loved the property, the nature, the architecture. My only knock: the carpets need a steam cleaning, but California is dusty in general, so it’s not a bug knock. 10/10 will stay again!"
