"Promising but outdated. The room was small and crowded. It seemed very dusty and dirty. It looked like it was decorated in the 90s. The bed was uncomfortable, though the pillows were nice and soft. The tub was relaxing. The bathroom floor was gross. The patio door was loud and hard to open, as it stuck a lot."

Here are two good options—pick the one that matches what you want to say: **Option A (neutral, safest):** I reported the issue to the front desk, and it seemed like they were already aware that the holder/handrail was wobbly. **Option B (stronger, but still fair):** We stayed at this hotel in Mackinac and unfortunately had a bad experience with the hot tub area. I fell at the hot tub because the holder/handrail felt very wobbly and unstable. That’s a serious safety concern, especially since people use hot tubs when the ground is wet and slippery. On top of that, the jets in the hot tub didn’t work, so it wasn’t even usable as expected. I reported the issue to the front desk, and it seemed like they were already aware that the holder/handrail was wobbly. The hotel really needs to fix the unstable holder/handrail and repair the jets before someone else gets hurt."

"The cleaning and dining staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the check in/front desk staff was extremely helpful and others were completely clueless. Luck of the draw. Overall the staff kept the place clean however the hotel itself has seen better days. The lobby intermittently smelled as if they had a sewage backup and our room has a very musty/moldy smell to it."

"The first room they put us in had mold on the floor and walls, spiders, and ceiling had water in it. The pull out wouldn’t pull out because the room wasn’t big enough. Staff was not friendly. The gave us a new room and it was a little better but not very clean, there was some sort of pill on the floor."
