"quick check in, prompt breakfast, good coffee"

"They did have forks and spoons in the lobby though. The pool was nice and the hot tub was functional. There were poop stains on the sheets. The TV was miswired so I had to fix it. The doors wouldn't open on the first scan. I had to try 3-4 times because the doors were warped. When I was checking in, the guy in front of me had to get a new room because the bed in the room that he just checked in to was broken. The handle for the shower has to be pulled out of the way to start water flow but...

"Security at the property? I got to the site around 1130 pm and there was an active theft happening in the parking lot, the guy ran off when i pulled in. I reported it to the receptionist and he did a great job handling it. Was a little taken back to learn that there were no cameras on the front of the building towards the parking lot. Then the next day at my meeting a person there said that he had stayed there a few weeks ago and his truck was broken into, and another guy said that it happens...

"Pool could use a heat pump it was colder ther the lake but otherwise our stay and view was awesome!"

"This place was nice mostly, it was clean and the location was good. The main complaint was that our tv didn’t work. The gal that worked there put in good effort to fix it but ultimately it never worked. It was clean and the breakfast was decent. I would stay here again and just hope the tv worked."

"The halls were stuffy old looking but wallah the room was very clean and nice. Wish I'd remembered coffee in the lobby. Nice size clean fridge in room. Parking was a bit tight but doable . Mattresses were wonderful slept very well. 4plus overall"

"Smells like Mold when you walk in the doors, the restaurant was already closing and the rooms... I get reinvention is hard but what they did was next level. The room its self is fine but the bathrooms don't trust the photos! Our was not the same as pictured also there isn't ac in the room or fans. It looks like a rent by night hotel with a big fancy price tag. No thanks! 0 out of 5 stars"

"Staff were very nice and welcoming, gave great recommendations for the area. Facility was clean inside and beds were very comfortable. Temperature inside was warm and rather humid despite the AC. Parking is very difficult if you do not reserve a space for $10+ per night, the area does not allow street parking overnight. Neighborhood is pretty rough. A few guests came into the dorm late into the night (2-4am) dropping cans of beer and making a fair bit of noise but other than that very quiet....

"New mattresses were comfy. Shower curtain well worn. Unfortunately, the hot tub had been removed and paved over. However, the pictures still show the hot tub. Breakfast: Egg patties were dry on the edges and not very warm. Juice machine out of order."

"I went thru Expedia and when I booked a room in duluth I specifically asked for a ground level room with a walk out patio,verified 3 times a ground level room and a patio,the gentleman who booked my room assured me of that was what I would get. I drove 4 hours went to check in and I had a room on the 11th floor and the hotel had No rooms with patios!!! Very disappointing."

"This is my go to when in Duluth. They take dogs which is the reason I stay. The place could use a good carpet cleaning. My room smelled and the hallway was stuffy and also smelly. Otherwise everything else is perfect. A good summer carpet cleaning wouldn’t hurt."

"The room smelled horribly of urine, the door to the room would not lock or even stay shut. The area is sketchy. Did not feel safe or comfortable, moved to another hotel and did not get a refund. Terrible on all accounts."
