"A nice local motel ran by friendly staff. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. No breakfast but there are options in town. Travelers should be aware that if staying on the second floor, the stairs leading up are open grate, thus those with a fear of heights may want to request downstairs rooms. Aside from that it seemed like a pretty well built motel. "

" No restaurant inside hotel even though they advertise a Denny’s. Went across the street to the Jailhouse Casino restaurant where the service was absolutely horrible and it took over an hour to get our food when the restaurant was empty. Over priced, I will never go there again."

"Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ely by IHG is the best alternative, in my opinion, to The Prospector Casino right next door. Breakfast is filling and free coffee is available in the lobby 24/7 for the coffee lovers like me. The not so good was that the fridge in my room did not have a freezer, as a result, I had to eat the 3 frozen meals I brought with me all at once, otherwise they would have gone bad; the ice machine on my floor was not working, and the staff could be a tad friendlier. Overall, it was a good place to stay. "
