Big shout out to Val who went above and beyond in tying my dates together. The spa is a real treat at the end of a day discovering the many levels of Matera. The staff there too are excellent. Thank you Jenny for the wonderful massage! This place is uniquely positioned on the quiet side of the Sassi. Almost all of the rooms have a balcony or terrace with dramatic views. It’s ancient history and you’re cocooned within it. Unique. "
