"Great staff, clean property, and superb location!"

"Stay away from this dump. The pictures make it look like it is industrial chic but it's really prison cell grade accommodations. The guy in the room next to ours showed us a giant water bug he found in his room. We checked out immediately. They rely on people falling for the false images they show of the rooms. This place would be better used as shelter for the many homeless around the hotel."

"I booked this hotel specifically because it stated that it was pet friendly and had a pool. The pet fee per night was the equivalent of one nights stay at the hotel, which is ridiculously expensive. There is no pool on the property. You have to walk a couple of blocks to access the pool, which is located inside of a gym. Lastly, parking on the street is about 10$ an hour. So you do the math. Had I known about any of these extra charges, I would have not stayed here. Way overpriced"

"The Cherokee Lodge is a lovely, charming little cottage just a few minutes walk to everything fun in Coronado. My daughter and I stayed in room 9 which is very small but plenty of room for the two of us. Our first night was fine aside from the fact the refrigerator in the room did not work but our second was awful. The air conditioning unit kept over heating and blowed hot air. The small room was stifling hot and we woke up at 2:30 sweaty and miserable. Unable to sleep we called the number that...

"We had a great stay. The location was great with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Very clean and beautiful hotel that preserves and honors the history. Friendly staff at the desk, in the restaurant, and doing the housekeeping. We will be coming back whenever we are in the area."

"Staff were friendly upon our arrival and room overall was clean. Only issue was a large wet spot on the floor where no one could explain how it came to be. We needed up placing towels to soak up as they offered large noisy fans for the day."

"We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff who cleaned were wonderful most staff were very kind and greeted us in yhe halls. The issue we had was the air-conditioning was not working and nothing was done. The room was so humid I could not get my hair or makeup right for the wedding we were there to attend. A staff at the front desk said to open the sliding glass door to let the night cool breeze in the problem is there is no screens and bugs can get in the room and the balcony...

"First time there, we got our room, Which was nice, but the bathroom was dirty, someone exploded the toilet. So gross, called front desk, they sent us to another room, which was old and no upgrades. Very disappointing. Requested our old room back and good thing I saw housekeeping and asked them to clean the restroom again."
