Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort.The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. "The area around the property was really beautiful. Several things to do, we went to the monkey show which was interesting and to Edo Wonderland, which was very cool. However, this hotel is very old and needs to be updated. The outdoor bath was nice."
