"The Headlands Inn has an ideal location; close to downtown, the coastal beach area, and fine dining. John welcomed us and helped answer several questions during our stay. The two breakfasts were outstanding, and the cookies put out in the afternoon were delicious. The room was quiet and comfortable. We were quite pleased with our choice of bed and breakfast."

"The breakfast was better than expected, with multiple options and a nice view. The room was very spacious, well furnished, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, just a 5 min drive from Mendocino town. The views from the hotel are also spectacular. "

"The room was updated, clean, cozy, and quaint. We loved it. Housekeeping brought us an extra space heater and blanket. They were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and everything fresh. Our 5 year old loved the fact that there was a swing set right across the street!"

"Great - pet friendly - location, with very clean rooms, easy parking (and convenient EV charging). The on-site restaurant felt very upscale with very nice views of the nearby harbor and great food (albeit, menu pricing is on the higher side). You will pay a little more for this stay; but overall, a very nice mini vacation (3 nights for me and my wife). I would stay here again. "

"Our 2nd trip to this amazing property! Grounds are well maintained and room was clean and very comfortable. Slept like a baby with sliding door open and sound of oceans waves. "This hotel is all about the views! It’s an older hotel but they’ve kept it in good shape. The rooms are large and clean. The bed was super comfortable and I’d say pretty soft. The bed is also high up so if you’re short, you’ll need a boost! Nice dresser space and closet space for clothes. Good size fridge plus a microwave! The morning breakfast doesn’t have much (no scrambled eggs or bacon since there’s no kitchen). However, they have fresh made muffins and croissant sandwiches plus yogurt, hard...
